A LUCKY BOX
PACKAGE DECONSTRUCTION
OVERVIEW
A Lucky Redesign is a project where I experimented with composition by using the Lucky Charms Cereal Brand as a focus. This was an exercise of deconstructing elements and recomposing them to create a more interesting and dynamic composition to reimagine what can be done when given elements. The project goal was to also develop a new take on the cereal box itself.

PHASE 01 · DECONSRUCTION

Without using scale or color, I rearranged the existing elements of a Lucky Charms cereal box onto 18” x 22” of space.

PHASE 03 · REIMAGINATION

After introducing color, I translated the elements into basic shapes and adjusted their placement and scale into a new composition.

PHASE 03 · REFORMATION

I replaced the shapes with realistic imagery relating to Lucky Charms and arranging them into a new composition.

PHASE 04 · RECONSTRUCTION

While using the previous phase as a point of departure, I reshaped the original cereal packaging into a new form which was inspired by a pot of gold.
